The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to hear an application filed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India seeking transcripts of audio tapes containing statements of its president N. Srinivasan, Indian captain M.S. Dhoni and other players, recorded by the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel.

A Bench of Justices A.K. Patnaik and V. Gopala Gowda posted the matter to April 11.

The BCCI also sought transcripts of the statements by IPL Chief Operating Officer Sundar Raman. Mr. Sundaram said the BCCI needed the transcripts to prepare itself for the April 16 hearing.
