Stalled projects: PM’s adviser meets Jayalalithaa

As part of efforts to expedite the projects being jointly implemented by the Centre and the state, Prime Minister’s Adviser T K A Nair met Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Friday.

During the meeting at the Secretariat, they discussed the implementation of various programmes jointly taken up by the Centre and the Tamil Nadu government in the state, an official release here said.

They were joined by Chief Secretary Debendranath Sarangi, Pallavi Jain, Director in the PMO and other senior state government officials.

Reports said Nair would review the status of several projects like Chennai-Bangalore Expressway, Chennai Port Maduravoyal Elevated link road and Ennore Manali Road Improvement Projects, including construction of a new airport at Sriperumbudur.
