The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and east Madhya Pradesh and active in Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarkhand, the Met office said on Friday.
It has been subdued over Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Chattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and Kerala, it added.
