With flood havoc continuing in Andhra Pradesh, the South Central Railway (SCR) has cancelled eight passenger trains and partially cancelled 10 trains till October 9 on Guntakal Division and between Panyam and Nandyal of Guntur Division.

In view of extensive damage caused to railway tracks due to incessant rains and overflowing flood waters on two bridges between Guntakal and Wadi (near Mantralayam and Raichur) on Guntakal Division and between Panyam and Nandyal of Guntur Division, passengers trains have been cancelled, an SCR release said here on Monday.

The cancelled passenger trains are: Raichur-Guntakal-Raichur Passenger, Sholapur-Raichur-Sholapur, Sholapur-Raichur, Raichur-Gulbarga, Guntakal-Dhone, Dhone-Gooty, Dhone-Kurnool, Gooty-Dhone.

The partially cancelled passenger trains are: Hubli-Vijayawada Passenger between Guntakal and Vijaywada, Vijayawada-Hubli Passenger between Nandyal and Hubli, Yeshwantpur-Vijayawada passenger between Guntakal and Vijaywada, Vijaywada-Yeshwantpur Passenger between Nandyal and Yeshwantpur, Secunderabad-Guntur Passenger between Dhone and Guntur, Guntur-Kacheguda Passenger between Nandyal and Kacheguda, Secunderabad-Guntur Passenger between Dhone and Guntur, Guntur-Secunderabad Passenger between Nandyal and Secunderabad, Guntur-Dhone Passenger between Nandyal and Dhone, Dhone-Guntur Passenger between Dhone and Nandyal.
