A soldier of the Indian Army died on Wednesday in an encounter with a group of the heavily armed militants at Gazaldari, close to Sadhna Pass, in Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Officials told The Hindu that the overnight operation was going on and it was being ascertained if any of the infiltrators were still trapped in the dense forest area close to the LoC.
