Six Air India flights from here to various destinations were cancelled on Saturday as the strike by the national carrier’s pilots entered the fourth day.

Airport sources here said flights to New Delhi and Madurai were among those cancelled.

The airline was managing the situation by combining flights to different sectors, they said.

Around 850 pilots have been on strike since Tuesday midnight, demanding fixed salary, removal of Air India CMD and a CBI probe into alleged mismanagement.
