Though the riot-hit walled city areas of Ahmedabad remained incident-free but tense on Friday, a huge cache of explosives and other inflammatory materials were found in a search during the day.
As the situation was slowly returning to normality, the police launched a massive combing operation at Shahpur and searched the houses at Rangeela Chowky and in other areas.
