Shah Rukh should have returned from U.S.: Sena

August 14, 2016 02:49 am | Updated October 18, 2016 03:02 pm IST - Mumbai:

Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was detained at a U.S. airport, should have displayed his patriotic credentials and returned to India after suffering another “insult” in the U.S., which would have been a “slap on the face of America,” the Shiv Sena said on Saturday.

Reacting to Mr. Khan’s detention, for the third time in seven years, the Sena said despite this “common occurrence,” the “tolerant actor” goes to the U.S. repeatedly.

“This has been a common occurrence with Shah Rukh at most big U.S. airports. Still, this tolerant actor goes to the U.S. repeatedly, only to get insulted,” an editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamana said. — PTI
