BJP president Amit Shah on Wednesday dared the Congress to prove any corruption charge against the Narendra Modi government during its three-year rule.

“The NDA government has been in power for the past three years and making all-round development. There has been no corruption charge against the government. Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi should explain corruption worth ₹13,00,000 crore committed during the UPA rule,” Mr. Shah said in Odisha’s Jajpur district.

The BJP chief is on a three-day visit to the State to strengthen the organisation at grass-root level. He took a jibe at former PM Manmohan Singh saying his voice could not be heard. Criticising the Naveen Patnaik government, he said Odisha could not develop as per expectations despite being home to natural resources and abundant water.
