May 14, 2014 03:09 am | Updated November 16, 2021 08:11 pm IST - NEW DELHI:

The CBI plans to collect all documents pertaining to the Saradha chit fund scam within a fortnight before it proceeds to register a case to formally institute a probe into the fraud involving Rs.10,000 crore.

“A plan of action is being drawn to analyse all documents collected from the West Bengal police. The SIT constituted under Joint Director (North-East) Rajeev Singh would then finalise the content of the First Information Report,” said a senior CBI official.
