After claiming for years to have suffered from cancer, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, prime accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case, backtracked in the Bombay High Court on Wednesday.
Hearing her bail plea, the division Bench of Justices P.V. Hardas and A. S. Gadkari said: “The medical report shows that it is simple tumour, and not cancer.”
The court then gave her one day to make submission on whether she was willing to get a biopsy test done from a reputable hospital. She will have to report to the court on Thursday.
