What was the Intelligent Quotient of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi?

This bizarre question came up by way of a Right to Information query before the Central Information Commission (CIC), which promptly dismissed the plea with an observation that seeking such details was surely “stretching the limits” of the RTI Act a “bit too far.”

The applicant, a resident of Ahmedabad, had sought information on Mahatma Gandhi, some former Presidents of India and Ministers, asking for their date and time of birth, blood group and their IQ levels.”
