Rotate PM post, suggests woman MP

Even before the Rajya Sabha voted for one-third reservation for women in Parliament and State Assemblies, a member Anasuiya Uikey from Madhya Pradesh made two interesting suggestions that had her BJP colleagues on the roll.

Ms. Uikey said the next step should be to have one-third women in the Union Cabinet and rotation of the five-year term of the Prime Minister for a woman. While some members on the coalition benches were seen gesturing over the expansion, some BJP MPs welcomed the proposition by thumping the desks.
