Though a rocket hit the Indian embassy in Kabul on Monday, all employees have been reported safe, the External Affairs Ministry said here. Raveesh Kumar, official spokesperson, said the attack caused minor damage to the property.

“A rocket landed on the premises of our embassy in Kabul a while ago causing minor damage to a structure on the rear side of the embassy compound. No fire or casualties. Our Charge d’Affaires said that all Embassy employees are safe,” the spokesperson said on the Twitter handle of the Ministry.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that the rocket targeted the ITBP barracks. “All Indians and staff are safe,” she said.
