Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has extended all Central assistance to Karnataka in dealing with the situation arising out of a blast outside a restaurant in Bengaluru on Sunday night.

Mr. Singh made the offer when he spoke to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah after the blast, according to a spokesperson of Home Ministry. Mr. Siddaramaiah apprised the Home Minister of the situation. Official sources said the Centre was ready to offer assistance to the State police in investigation of the blast which came within a couple of weeks of the arrest of a techie Mehdi Masoor Biswas for his reported tweets supporting the IS terror group. “All angles are being looked into,” sources said.
