Rajasthan unemployment dole for graduates

The Rajasthan government on Wednesday announced an unemployment allowance scheme, with effect from July 1, for educated youth registered with employment exchanges for more than a year.

It provides for an allowance of Rs. 500 a month to the eligible candidates, who are graduates.

They will get the allowance for a maximum of two years.

Disabled youth will get Rs.600.

According to an official release here, the upper age limit for the general beneficiaries will be 30 years.

Women, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Tribes and disabled persons can apply till the age of 35.

“The allowance will be sanctioned to a maximum of one lakh youths every year.’’
