On a tip-off, the Kaanai police on Thursday traced 15-year-old Rupa (name changed), a resident of Jodhgar in Jaipur, Rajasthan, who was allegedly “forced to live with her abductor.”

The police informed her parents, running a dairy at Jodhgar, who, along with the Jaipur police, came to Kaanai on Friday and took both of them back.

Police sources said that during interrogation, it came to light that Rupa fell in love with Harikesh (32) of the same area and eloped with him.

They were living in the house of Vikram, a friend of Harikesh.

However, locals came to know that the girl was kept in the house against her will and therefore alerted the police.
