Former Communication Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Lok Sabha member A. Raja, who has been protesting non-inclusion of his written statement in the final report submitted by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the 2G Spectrum allocation, might give a notice for discussion on the report under Rule 193 in the ensuing Parliament session.

Informed sources in the DMK said the party was upset that not only was he was denied an opportunity to appear before the JPC to give his version on the Spectrum allocation issue, but also his written statement was not included in the JPC’s main report. There were also lot of deletions in the dissent note submitted by DMK Parliamentary party leader and member of JPC T.R. Baalu.
