The BJP on Sunday said the clean image of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had been tainted as Telecom Minister A. Raja continued in his office.

“Your (Dr. Singh’s) honesty has come under cloud for continuation of the scam-tainted Telecom Minister in the UPA government,” party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters in Patna.

The BJP leader asked the Centre to sack Mr. Raja in order to maintain the highest standard of public morality and accountability.
