Scores of protestors on Wednesday defied prohibitory orders imposed at Jai Prakash Narain Park, the proposed venue of Anna Hazare’s agitation, to express solidarity with the Gandhian.

For the second consecutive day, Mr. Hazare’s supporters came to the park and some even managed to sneak into the adjoining Shaheed Park, where too prohibitory orders have been imposed.

Police detained those who managed to scale the walls and enter Shaheed Park.

Police also made regular announcements that those who violate the orders will be detained.

“If more than four people assemble near the park, they will be detained,” the police official who made the announcement said.
