Priyanka Vadra on Monday arrived here on a two-day visit to the Lok Sabha constituency of her mother and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. She visited a number of villages and interacted with people.

Continuing her mass contact programme, Ms. Vadra visited 18 hamlets, met women in their households and had her lunch at a field, sources in the Congress said. She also visited some other households, including those of Dalits.

Ms. Vadra visited the Shivgarh and Mahrajganj blocks of the Bachrawan Assembly segment and held meetings to know about the problems of the villagers.

She also reviewed the functioning of a solar water pump at Osah and took part at a meeting in Rampur Khas.

Throughout her tour, journalists were kept at a distance by SPG personnel.
