President greets nation on Milad-un-Nabi

President Pranab Mukherjee has greeted the nation on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, which is being observed on Friday.

In his message, Mr. Mukherjee said: “On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet, I send my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizens. May the message of universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity preached by the Holy Prophet guide and inspire us all to live a righteous and productive life.”
