Describing the Janata Dal(United)-Bharatiya Janata Party combine’s performance in Bihar polls as “unprecedented”, BJP president Nitin Gadkari today said the election results have made it clear that only “politics of development” worked in the country.

“This (victory of NDA) proves that there will be no space for politics of caste in 21st century politics. Politics of progress and development are only possible,” the party president said.

By ending the “politics of caste”, the people of the state have strengthened the “politics of development“.

He said the poll results were “unprecedented” and hoped the success achieved by the JD(U)-BJP alliance under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi will give a new direction to the politics of the country.

Congratulating the party leaders and workers of both the BJP and JD (U), he said, “It has been proved (by the poll results) once again that how a miracle can happen by working together with unity.”
