A day after model-actress Bidushi Dash Barde, a former Miss Chennai, was found murdered at her flat here, the police are still trying to get clear leads in the case.
“Our investigations are on. We are still awaiting the forensic reports. We have been recording statements,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Pratap Dighaokar told The Hindu on Wednesday.
Ms. Barde’s family claimed her body from a civic hospital here. She was later cremated, Mr. Dighaokar said.
