Plane carrying Mulayam’s brother skids off runway

Uttar Pradesh Minister Shivpal Yadav, brother of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, had a miraculous escape when a plane carrying him skidded of the runway during landing at the IGI Airport and suffered some damage. The plane from Lucknow had six people, including one cabin crew member.

Confirming the accident, the Delhi International Airport spokesperson said it was around 11.30 a.m. that the private aircraft VT-UPN (Beechcraft Premier 1A) belonging to the Uttar Pradesh government was damaged during landing on Runway 27 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. “Emergency services at the airport swung into action and we can confirm that there was no fire or casualties of any kind in the incident.”
