Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K’s Uri sector

Three houses were damaged in Baramulla’s Uri Sector on Thursday in fresh firing by Pakistani troops on the Line of Control. An Army spokesman said Pakistani troops resorted to “unprovoked firing” around 8 a.m. and “Indian Army also retaliated.”

Despite the tension, the cross-LoC trade remained unaffected in Uri.
