Pakistan troops open fire on Indian posts

Pakistan troops opened fire on Indian posts along the border in Jammu district on Sunday night, violating the ceasefire agreement between the two sides.

“Pakistan Rangers fired on Indian posts along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu sector. They have violated the ceasefire,” a senior BSF officer said, adding no life was lost or property damaged during the firing.

The Pakistan Rangers fired from their Shaheed Iqbal post in Sialkot sector, targeting forward points on India’s Kote Kuba post along the International Border in the RS Pura belt of the Jammu sector at 8.20 p.m. on Sunday night.

The firing stopped around 9.15 p.m.
