Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing at a BSF post on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Sunday.

“Pakistan Rangers fired five to six rounds of automatic gunfire at Jugney Chak post of the BSF in R.S. Pura sector yesterday (Saturday) evening,” a senior police officer told IANS in Jammu.

“The BSF (Border Security Force) did not retaliate to the firing. There was no casualty or damage on our side,” he said.
