Pak, China violated Indian airspace 16 times in 2014

Sixteen cases of transgression into the Indian airspace have been recorded in 2014 from China and Pakistan, the highest since 2012, Lok Sabha was informed on Friday.

In 2013, 12 cases of transgression of the Indian airspace were registered while six took place in 2012, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said.

“During the last two years and the current year, helicopters of Pakistan and China have transgressed into Indian airspace,” he said in a written reply while giving the figures.
