Ruby Choudhary, who has been on a four-day police remand over charges of illegal stay at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, was discharged from Doon Hospital on Thursday evening after being admitted there in the morning as she complained of pain in the right limb.

“We got all tests done and everything turned out to be normal,” Mukesh Sundriyal, senior physician, said.

Ms. Choudhary’s remand will end on Friday. Her relatives, who were present in the hospital, said they would meet Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat seeking a CBI investigation into the case.
