The Wipro lighting and furniture business, a wing of Wipro Limited, on Wednesday said it was willing to take part in the beautification drive here.

“If there is requirement of our services and products, we are prepared to take part in the Kolkata beautification drive launched by the West Bengal government led by Mamata Banerjee,” company’s General Manager (metro sales) Anuj Dhir said.

Claiming to have a profitable presence in the branded retail market, Mr. Dhir listed that Wipro had innovated LED-based lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications and streetlights since its inception in 1992.

He said that the lighting business, which has grown up exponentially had wide application in government, semi-government and private organisations.
