The winter session of West Bengal Assembly beginning from November 30 is likely to be stormy with the Congress and the Trinamool Congress demanding early polls in the State.
The two main Opposition parties in the State are demanding early Assembly elections in the State, which was originally scheduled for 2011, following Left parties’ defeat in the recently held polls.
The ruling coalition has been cornered politically following the electoral defeats, starting from the Panchayat elections to the Lok Sabha, municipalities, civic bodies and the latest being its drubbing in the by-polls to 10 Assembly seats.
