Accusing Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra of failing on all fronts, Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray said voters will elect a Shiv Sena-BJP combine in the October 13 Assembly elections.
Mr. Uddhav assured that if the Sena-BJP government was voted to power, it will keep stable prices of essential commodities for five years as the same was done by its dispensation earlier.
Mr. Uddhav was in Nashik on Thursday to address election meetings at Sinnar, Niphad, Nashik. Besides, he also addressed meetings through mobile phone at Malegaon and Nandgaon.
Mr. Uddhav alleged that the Congress-NCP government has failed to control inflation, load shedding and farmer suicides.
On sitting Mayor Vinayak Pandey and Igatpuri’s sitting Sena MLA Kashinath Mengal, who left Sena to join NCP and MNS respectively, Uddhav said, “They enjoyed their full terms and left the party for their selfish ends. Sena doesn’t care about it as my cousin Raj too left and formed the MNS.”
