Veteran journalist Baleshwar Agrawal dead

Veteran journalist Baleshwar Agrawal, who was former Managing Editor of the Hindustan Samachar News Agency, died in New Delhi after a brief illness. He was 91.

Mr. Agrawal, who hailed from Balasore district in Odisha, had started his career in journalism from Patna and had worked extensively during the Emergency.

Mr. Agrawal was also founder secretary-general of Antar-Rashtriya Sahayog Parishad (Indian Council for International Cooperation).
