BJP workers created unruly scenes at the party headquarters here for the second day today over a reported move to give the Uchayakot assembly seat in Bihar’s Goplaganj district to ruling ally JD(U).

Slogan-shouting party workers from Gopalganj entered the party office and the conference hall where convenor of the State election committee and former State president Radha Mohan Singh, MP was to address a press conference.

They sat on dharna for nearly 20 minutes and raised slogans against senior party leader and deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for interfering in the affairs of the party.

They raised alogans ‘stop selling tickets’, ‘if Uchayakot is surrendered to JD(U) then party workers will resign en masse and ensure the defeat of NDA candidates in the district’ in the assembly elections this month.

Later they sat on dharna and kept on shouting slogans against Modi and Nitish Kumar.

The BJP leaders from Begusarai had ranscked the chambers three general secretaries of the party Janardan Sigriwal, Mangal Pandey and Rajneesh Singh yesterday.
