Unidentified person killed in BSF firing on Indo-Pak border

An unidentified person was today killed when BSF opened fire after observing suspicious movement along the Indo-Pak border in Jammu district, a BSF spokesman said.

BSF noticed suspicious movement along the border in Chak Pagwari Border belt in Akhnoor sector of Jammu district around 0400 hours this morning, he said, adding security forces in an attempt to thwart any kind of intrusion opened fire.

One person was killed in the firing and his identity is yet to be known, he said, adding that it was not known immediately whether he was an infiltrator or not.
