Two sub-adult tigers were found found dead in Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park (RNP) on Tuesday evening, with forest officials suspecting that they were killed by a male tiger in a territorial fight.

The post-mortem of the two carcasses was conducted on Wednesday.

RNP field director Y.K. Sahu said as the tiger cubs, both one-and-a-half years old, lived with their mother, T-79, the unidentified tiger might have attacked them while considering them as an obstruction to mating with the tigress.
