“A couple identified as Parvati (60) and Hanuman (65) were killed in the incident,” a head constable posted in Bajaria Police station said.

“Nearly 100 feet of the projected portion of a bridge used by pedestrians collapsed late on Monday night killing those sleeping under it on road,” SP, Bhopal (South) Anshuman Singh told PTI.

It also passes over Delhi-Chennai railway line.
