An alleged international prostitution racket being run from Greater Kailash Part-II area of the Capital was busted on Monday and seven persons, including three Uzbek women, were arrested.

“Three Uzbek women, their three customers Mohammed Imran, Sem Ahmed and Shajad Khan and one Raju Paswan, working as a carrier, were arrested,” a senior police officer said.

According to police, the three women were living in a rented accommodation in GK-II without valid travel documents.

“The main person behind the racket was Ajay alias Jaat, a Haryana resident, who had been staying in Delhi for three to four years. He allegedly used to facilitate visit and stay of foreign national girls on tourist visa,” said Ajay Choudhary, ACP South-East District.

He had been operating the international flesh trade in Delhi and the NCR region for three years. Ajay used to arrange clients for the girls and charged between Rs 4,000 and Rs 8,000. He used to charge hefty amounts for belly dancing, weekend parties and travel companions to various destinations like Shimla, Jaipur and Goa.

The foreign nationals used to come to India on tourist visa for a period ranging between three to six months, Choudhary said.
