Three insurgents of a major outfit Kanglei Yawol Kann Lup were arrested during a search operation in Manipur’s interior Thoubal district, the police said on Sunday.
Commandos attached to Thoubal district police launched a manhunt at Thoubal Wangmataba area on Saturday following reports of infiltration and movement of insurgents.
During the search operation, three KYKL members identified as P Boynao (21), S Aboicha (20) and N Sanathoi (18) were arrested, the sources said.
Official sources said over 100 militants of various outfits have so far been arrested in the State this year.
