Police have registered a case. However no arrest has been made.

In another incident a powerful bomb was detonated by remote control on Sunday morning near Kheljang village in Chandel district bordering Myanmar. It was detonated when the personnel of 6 Dogra Regiment were patrolling the mountain road. One personnel sustained injuries. There has been no claim for the remote controlled blast as yet.
