Thieves run away with ATM in Shopian: Police

Robbers have stolen an ATM from the premises of district hospital at Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

The thieves broke open and took away the ATM installed by Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the premises of Shopian district hospital during the intervening night, a police official said.

He said the bank officials were in the process of ascertaining the exact amount of cash in the ATM when it was stolen.

Police has taken cognisance of the incident and started investigations, he added.
