Teacher, principal held after 8-year-old girl dies

The schoolgirl died after she was allegedly beaten up by her teacher in Bandikui of Dausa district of Rajasthan.

An eight-year-old schoolgirl died after she was allegedly beaten up by her teacher in Bandikui of Dausa district on Thursday.

The teacher and the principal of the school have been taken into custody.

According to the police, the girl from Nadera village was a student of Class-II in a private school near her village. The girl’s parents have alleged that their daughter was beaten up on Wednesday by her teacher Ramji Lal following which she had to be hospitalised with injuries.
