Shehla to pen experience on student politics

Penguin Random House India will soon publish student activist and Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) vice-president Shehla Rashid’s account of campus politics in a book, which currently has a working title of “I, Student”.

Ms. Rashid’s book offer follows JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar’s offer from Juggernaut publications. His book, “Bihar to Tihar,” will trace the journey from his school days, his participation in student politics to his controversial arrest.

Non-fiction

A work of non-fiction, her book will paint the picture of the current state of student politics in the country narrated from the perspectives of a Kashmiri and a woman.
