Shailesh Yadav’s autopsy inconclusive

Even as several theories floated regarding the death of Shailesh Yadav, second son of Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, the autopsy report could not ascertain the cause of his death.

However, the post mortem examination on Wednesday revealed a deep cut wound on the right side of the deceased’s forehead.

Shailesh Yadav was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the Mall Avenue residence of the Madhya Pradesh Governor here. He was reported to have died either late on Tuesday night, or early on Wednesday. His name had figured in the Vyapam recruitment scam in Madhya Pradesh.

Prakash D., IG (Administration), said that according to the autopsy report, “the cause of the death could not be ascertained.” The viscera and heart has been preserved for further examination, Mr. Prakash said.

As per the autopsy report, one wound on the right side of the forehead, a deep cut, was found, the IG ( Administration) added. Shailesh Yadav was cremated on Thursday after the arrival here of his father.

The Madhya Pradesh Governor, who was admitted in a nursing home in Bhopal, was flown to Lucknow and admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav went to his Mall Avenue residence after which his son’s body was taken for cremation.
