BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday urged a gathering of around 300 people at Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar to join the nation for development and bring the BJP to power in the State.

“If you want Jammu and Kashmir to join the journey of development, if J&K has to become the most developed province of the country, if you want to make it the crown of India, then you have to bring a BJP government to power here,” Mr. Shah told the gathering. “[If the BJP comes to power] Every household will get electricity, every household will get clean water supply, ” he said.
