Sangam project shelved

The proposed plan to construct a permanent replica of the temple of Lord Venkateshwara near the Sangam has been shelved due to unavailability of land.

The members of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthananams (TTD), the trust which manages the temple, had during their visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela announced that they would build a permanent replica of the temple in Allahabad.
