Sadhvi Pragnya Thakur on Tuesday denied having played any role in either the Malegaon blast or Sunil Joshi murder, and alleged that Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Digvijay Singh and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar were responsible for both offences. RSS worker Joshi was a suspect in the Samjhauta Express blast case.

According to local news reports, she also alleged that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh was not doing enough to bring the real conspirators to book. The Sadhvi made the statements while leaving for Mumbai from Indore, where she was admitted to the M.Y. Hospital.
