RSS leader Ravinder Gosain shot dead in Ludhiana

Ravinder Gosain, a local Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader, was shot dead reportedly by two armed assailants near his house in Ludhiana on Tuesday.

The two assailants fired at the RSS leader when he returned home after attending a routine RSS ‘shakha’. The assailants, who were were riding a motorcycle, fled the scene after committing the crime. Mr. Gosain suffered two bullet injuries, one in in the head and another in the shoulder.

Ludhiana Police Commissioner, R.N. Dhoke told reporters that an investigation has begun.

Mr. Gosain, 58 was a ‘Mukhya Shikshak’ of the Mohan Shakha of RSS in Ludhiana and was also the office bearer of district Bharatiya Janata Party.
