RPF asked to search the missing staff after train accident

Following the train mishap in which 15 people were killed and 50 others injured at Badarwas railway station today morning, the Railway Protection Force has been asked to search for the staff who fled from the spot after the accident.

“It is true that the staff at Badarwas Station were missing from it’s duty following the accident and RPF personnel were directed to search them soon,” Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Ghanshyam Singh told PTI.

To a report about liquor bottles being found in the office of the station manager, he said that he was told about it by the media persons and is verifying the same.

At least 15 people were killed and 50 injured when a goods train rammed into a stationery passenger train at Badarwas railway station in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh early morning today.
